In Silhouette Studio, go to "File > Open" and locate the file you wish to use. You can also Import this file into your Library, if you choose to do so (personal preference). After locating the file, it should open seamlessly into Silhouette Studio.
If you receive an error message, you may want to check:
1) the type of file you are opening
2) if you have Designer Edition which is necessary to open SVG files.
Basic Edition Silhouette Studio (the software that comes with the machine) will NOT open SVG files. If you do not have Designer Edition: I recommend using SVG FILES for all cutting machines, as they are easier/cleaner files to use. It is a one time download and you will have many more design capabilities, along with the ability to use SVG files. You can usually find it on sale for around $25.
In Design Space, go to: File > New. This will open a new design screen. From the sidebar, click Upload Image. On this new screen, go to: Upload > Browse and locate the SVG file you wish to use, and double click on it. Click Save Image. Click the file in the Upload Image window to select it. Your file will show a green check mark when correctly selected. Click Insert Images. Your SVG file should now be visible on your canvas.
I'm so sorry you're having trouble with checking out. Unfortunately, this seems to be something that glitches with certain internet browsers. I have found the best luck with Firefox and also making sure to "accept cookies" when the website prompts.
While refunds are not offered, I will send you another design of your choice! Just let me know what design you would like instead.

Sometimes designs that have many colors or layers can require extensive layering of HTV which can be timely, expensive and bulky. Instead, you can use Heat Transfer Paper, to print the design as a single image and then transfer it onto the surface. If you have software to open SVG files, I would recommend using the SVG file and doing a print and cut. If you do not have cutting software, I recommend using the PNG file to print the design onto the Heat Transfer Paper. Follow the directions on the paper you purchase.
